King and Queen of the Mardi Gras

Every year we have a Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras party at Del Pueblo RV park near Yuma, Arizona.
This year it was our turn to host the party along with a couple from Alberta, Canada.
There were over 100 party goers and fun was had by all.

  1. Hi guys--I had forgotten about your blog, so--belatedly--here I am. Great King and Queen photo! I became a "follower" of your blog but, with the screen I have in front of me, my photo is posted twice. I'm not sure how that happened; maybe you can tell me if I need to try to delete one of the photos. I hope you're having fun in the sun! Love, Loreen

  2. Hi Georgia and Pat,
I checked in with your blog again--I'm trying to remember to be a good "friend." I'm glad to hear that your weather is good AND--because it is getting warmer there--you guys will be heading our way soon. So sorry to hear that Rollie and Sherron are still in the recovery mode. Hopefully, something will get figured out soon Rollie can eat again and not feel sick. I keep thinking it must be medication-related but surely the docs would have thought about that. Anyway, here's hoping that they are back with your gang soon! And, we look forward to seeing you here.

  3. Hi you bloggers,
We have returned from points east and are wading through the muddle of tasks undone. Will's back is bad, unfortunately--likely too much sitting and driving. It was fun to see your kiddos in Billings and east at their "good food store" (Good Earth?--sort of in our old neighborhood. The old library was very visible from there and Will and I drove down N. 31st, past Central and the Boice's apartment in our search for the freeway entrance.
We're looking forward to a summer of fun with the Heapys and Cragwicks (e.g. Folk Festival, Jenna's softball games).
